About me
Leanne Hunter (CNZHFE, MSc)
I am the Principal Advisor at ProErgo+. Originally I completed a Sport and Exercise degree from the University of Auckland before moving overseas and completing my Master’s degree in Health Ergonomics at the University of Surrey (United Kingdom).
I have worked for over 20 years as a human factors and ergonomics (HFE) professional, with 8 years in the Science Division at the Health and Safety Executive in the United Kingdom. When I returned to New Zealand I worked as a part-time contractor for an ergonomics consultancy (Optimise Ltd) before working as a senior health and safety advisor for a large healthcare provider. There I gained valuable health and safety experience and completed the NEBOSH International General Certificate. Most recently I have worked as the Principal Advisor in the Human Factors and Ergonomics team at WorkSafe specialising in musculoskeletal health risk management.
I am a Certified New Zealand Human Factors and Ergonomics professional (CNZHFE) and am listed on the HASANZ Register. I also hold relevant practising insurances.
Get in touch today if you would like to discuss how I can provide you with a tailored approach to help you manage your musculoskeletal risks and help you save money.
