Our story
ProErgo+ Limited was established in early 2025 but has been a long-time in the making. It was born out of a passion to make a positive impact for workers and businesses.
Musculoskeletal disorders such as sprains and strains make up around 30% of all workplace harm in Aotearoa New Zealand, affecting thousands of workers every year. They continue to be a huge financial burden for businesses, ACC and the economy.
Other countries are more advanced in their approaches to managing musculoskeletal health risks. But many New Zealand businesses continue to rely on manual handling training as the primary control, even though the evidence shows this is not effective.
With limited updated resources currently available to tackle these issues we saw the need to help businesses and industry groups to better understand and effectively manage their musculoskeletal risks.
